Day by day

1. Day 1 — Arrival at Kathgodam/Delhi - Drive to Ranikhet

   Arrive at Kathgodam railway station, Pantnagar Airport or Delhi to begin your Kumaon holiday. Meet our tour executive and drive up to Ranikhet, climbing steadily through this gateway to the foothills with its pine slopes and valley views along the way. On arrival, transfer to your hotel and complete check-in. The evening is free at leisure to stroll around the quiet cantonment town. Overnight stay in Ranikhet.

2. Day 2 — Ranikhet to Kausani Scenic Drive

   Post breakfast, drive to Kausani through scenic valleys and pine ridges. Check in at your hotel and explore this hill station, often called the Switzerland of India, facing a 300 km uninterrupted panorama of Trisul, Nanda Devi and Panchachuli. Visit Anasakti Ashram (Gandhi Smriti), the terraced tea gardens, and the ancient Baijnath Temples on the Gomti river. Evening free for the sunset view. Overnight stay in Kausani.

3. Day 3 — Kausani to Chaukori Scenic Drive

   Post breakfast, drive to Chaukori via scenic valleys and pine ridges. Check in and explore this unspoiled hill hamlet, known for majestic close-up views of the Panchachuli peaks and surrounding tea gardens. An excursion takes you to Patal Bhuvaneshwar, an underground subterranean limestone cave temple reached by a narrow descent. Return to the resort for an evening of mountain views and an overnight stay in Chaukori.

4. Day 4 — Full Day Sightseeing in Chaukori

   Breakfast at the resort, followed by a full day excursion covering the top highlights of Chaukori. This unspoiled hill hamlet offers majestic close-up views of the Panchachuli peaks across the valley. Drive out to Patal Bhuvaneshwar, an underground subterranean limestone cave temple with rock formations reached by a narrow stepped passage. Return in the evening for sunset over the ranges and an overnight stay in Chaukori.

5. Day 5 — Chaukori to Nainital Scenic Drive

   Post breakfast, drive to Nainital via scenic valleys and pine ridges, passing terraced farms and oak forests along the way. On arrival, check in and set out to explore the famous Lake City. Enjoy boating on Naini Lake, visit Naina Devi Temple on its shore, stroll along Mall Road and browse the Tibetan Market. Ride the cable car to Snow View Point for mountain vistas, and walk through the Eco Cave Gardens. Overnight stay in Nainital.

6. Day 6 — Nainital - Morning Sightseeing & Departure

   Post breakfast, take in a last morning mountain view over the lake and surrounding ridges before settling any personal accounts. Check out from the hotel and begin the drive down through pine forest and hill villages. You will be dropped at Kathgodam railway station, Pantnagar Airport or driven onward to Delhi for your onward journey, depending on your chosen travel arrangements. The tour ends here with pleasant memories of the Kumaon hills.
