Day by day

1. Day 1 — Arrival at Gateway - Transfer to Bhitarkanika

   Arrive at airport / railway station (Bhubaneswar/Kolkata). Meet our tour representative and commence your journey to Bhitarkanika. Check in at hotel/eco-camp/resort. Subtropical mangrove wetland sanctuary: Boat safari through creeks to spot saltwater crocodiles, water monitor lizards, and diverse bird species. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Bhitarkanika.

2. Day 2 — Full Day Sightseeing & Exploration in Bhitarkanika

   Arrive in Bhitarkanika and check in at your lodge or camp. After breakfast, spend a full day exploring this subtropical mangrove wetland sanctuary. A boat safari takes you through the creeks to spot saltwater crocodiles basking on the banks, water monitor lizards and a wide variety of resident and migratory birds. In the evening take a stroll through the local village markets. Overnight stay in Bhitarkanika.

3. Day 3 — Bhitarkanika to Bhubaneswar Scenic Transfer & En Route Sights

   Post breakfast, check out and drive towards Bhubaneswar through picturesque highways, delta rivers, and rural landscapes. Arrive in Bhubaneswar and check in at hotel/camp. Temple City of India: Lingaraj Temple, Mukteswar Temple, Rajarani Temple, Khandagiri and Udayagiri Jain Caves, and Dhaulagiri Shanti Stupa. Overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.

4. Day 4 — Bhubaneswar - Morning Sightseeing & Onward Departure

   After breakfast and morning views, check out from the hotel. Time is left for any final souvenir shopping in Bhubaneswar, where Pattachitra paintings, Dokra metal crafts and Darjeeling tea are easily found. You are then transferred to the airport or railway station for your onward journey home. The short drive passes the temple town's wide avenues and ancient shrines, concluding your tour of the region.
